My uncle’s birthday was July 4th and some of my fondest memories of summertime were celebrating his birthday at our house with a pool party. My mom or my aunt would prepare this dessert every year as his cake! As I was adding the strawberries to this cookie, all of those precious memories came flooding back- I love it how little things in life can mean so much!πŸ’•

Can I use chocolate chip cookie dough instead?

Yes! You can definitely use chocolate chip cookie dough! We went with sugar cookie dough to keep it simple, but isn’t everything better with chocolate chips?!?!?

Do I have to use pre-made cookie dough?

You do not need to use the pre-made dough if you want to make your own! We love how easy it makes this recipe, but you are welcome to use your own!

If I don’t like cream cheese, can I use a different icing?

Sure! You can do a simple white icing with this pizza, but we think the cream cheese mixture really adds to the taste!
