Creamy Light Balsamic Dressing in mini glass pitcher

A lot of times, when Ashley and I don’t have the time to cook for ourselves, we will throw together a salad with some of the refrigerator staples we have on hand. We try to make it as healthy as possible but we are know that goes to you know where when we dump ranch on it ;( We wanted something that was more than just oil, but didn’t compromise the healthy dish we were shooting for. This dressing is the answer to that problem! Its creamy and feels thicker then a typical balsamic. Its rich in a flavor and takes our salads to the next level. Did I mention its Whole 30 compliant also? 😉

Is balsamic vinegar the same as balsamic vinaigrette?

The quick answer is no they aren’t. A balsamic vinaigrette usually involves adding oil, sugar, and/or mustard to your balsamic vinegar, as well as seasonings like garlic, salt, and pepper. Balsamic vinaigrette can be made in a way that makes it healthier then several other salad dressing options, it can’t compare to simply using the vinegar and oil.

How long does opened balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing last in the refrigerator?

Balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing that has been continuously refrigerated will generally stay at best quality for about 6 to 9 months. That would absolutely hold true with the recipe you are making today.
