This easy Oatmeal on the go has been my saving grace since I’ve been trying to get back into healthy eating habits and trying not to skip that all important breakfast just because I hit snooze an extra time… or four!

Can you make overnight oats for the week?

Just like you pack salads for the week, you can save time every night by prepping five days of overnight oats. All you need are mason jars, some basic ingredients, and an under-300-calorie super filling breakfast will be waiting for you every morning.

Ingredients for Simple Healthy Overnight Oats

  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1TBS Honey
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder

How to make Simply Healthy Overnight Oats:

Measure out 1 Cup of oats and with a funnel or pouring delicately, add them to the bottom of a clean mason jar.

Add 1 cup of milk. (We use whole milk.) Pour in 1 TBS of vanilla extract, 1tsp of cinnamon powder, and 2 tsp of honey.

Screw the top on your jar and give it a really good shake for 10-15 seconds.

Place them in the refrigerator. You want them to set at least 6 hours so we fund these are mostly useful when made the night before. They are good about 3-5 days… Timing will really come down to how long you had on your milk before it expired.
