One of the great things about this recipe is that the sliders are incredibly versatile. You can serve as a the main course for dinner or on a tray as appetizers for any gathering. You can change up the flavors by using any stuffing box you want or even by subbing in ground chicken for the ground turkey. These can be tailored to your particular diet and tastes. Just keep the ratio amounts the same π
How do you tell if a turkey burger is done without a thermometer?
If you donβt have a thermometer to check the temperature of your turkey burger, you will want to check the clarity of the juices. When a turkey burger is done, the juice will run clear. If you cut into one and the juices run red or tinted with pink at all, you’ll want to pop those babies back into the oven for another 3-5 minutes. Juice color is the best indicator when you do not have a thermometer.
What should Turkey burgers be cooked to?
We bake our turkey burgers for 25 minutes at a lower temperature so that the patties don’t dry out. If you cook them on too high of a heat, that’s precisely what will happen. The USDA recommends cooking to a minimum internal temperature of 160 F, so if you have a trusty thermometer on hand, that is a great way to judge.

Ingredients for Baked Turkey Burger Sliders
- Ground turkey
- 1 Box of Stove Top Savory Herbs Stuffing Mix
- 1 Large Egg
- A jar of marinara
How to make Baked Turkey Burger Sliders
Preheat oven to 350 F.
First, combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 1 large egg, 1 box of stuffing, and 1 cup of marinara in a large bowl.

Mix thoroughly. (We mix with our hands because it seems to do the best job at combining everything!)
Next, cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Portion out meat in 1/3 cup serving size. Then, place on parchment paper, evenly spread about an inch apart.

Bake for 15 minutes then flip the burgers, and bake for another 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

There are a lot of recipes that I have tried to use ground turkey instead of ground beef and they haven’t turned out to be my favorite. You do NOT have to worry about that in this case. All the flavors combine and are so fantastic! They are light and aromatic and have a wonderful, moist texture. Pair this entree with our ChickPea and Edamame Salad and we are sure it’ll be a dinner time hit.
