Delicious, refreshing, and delightfully simple to make! This Lemonade Raspberry Vodka Slush is just sweet enough to quench your sugar craving without all of the guilt. With the tang of lemons, the burst of raspberry flavor, and the slight hint of banana, you will be making this slush all summer long.

There is nothing quite like an ice cold cocktail on a hot summer day! I am a sucker for most anything with raspberries, so this recipe was simple to come up with. The banana neutralizes the tartness of the raspberries perfectly. This is a simple recipe to double or even triple when you have company around. It takes less than 5 minutes to throw together which is a huge plus when we want to get to relaxin’ and sippin’.
Do you I have to use fresh raspberries?
You definitely do not! For a more pure taste, frozen are the way to go! By that, we mean that you aren’t diluting the beverage with flavorless ice. You can buy frozen bagged raspberries and pull from the freezer whenever the craving hits. When raspberries are in season, I pop fresh ones from the grocery right into the freezer. In about an hour, they are ready to use!
What changes if I use fresh raspberries?
Fresh raspberries are delicious in this cocktail! The only alteration to the recipe that you’ll need to do is add ice to give it the slushy texture. When using frozen berries, they also act as the icing agent, giving the raspberry lemonade vodka the slushy consistency. When using non-frozen berries, you just counter balance them with some ice cubes- easy-peasy!
Are there health benefits to red raspberries?
You betcha’! Red raspberries contain strong antioxidants that fight against cancer, heart and circulatory disease and age-related decline. They are high in ellagic acid, a known chemo-preventative, and have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. Raspberries are low in calories and an excellent source of vitamins and fiber.

How to prepare the raspberry lemonade vodka slush:
Pull out your VitaMix (or any blender you have on hand) and put into the smoothie mode.
Place raspberries, banana, vodka, and lemonade in the container.

Once top is on, press start!
*If you have a VitaMix, the dial with the snowflake is the best setting for this particular cocktail. It fully incorporates all the ingredients while keeping the drink cold and smooth.

Your slushy is ready to serve! Garnish with leftover raspberries if you have any.
*If not using a VitaMixer, just blend until you notice a creamy, slushy consitency.

A lot of times, my kids want whatever I have… especially if it looks like a dessert. So with this recipe, I always make them a slushy WITHOUT the vodka first. They love it and are happy campers. I’ll make a second batch for the adults afterwards. Its a win/win for everyone. Pair this drink with our Salsa Verde tacos!
