What is kielbasa?

First off, kielbasa is the polish word for ‘sausage’. Kielbasa can come in a variety of forms: beef, pork, chicken, and a blend. It comes in a ‘U’ – shaped packaging and it is typically precooked. I usually opt for the beef type because it is a little healthier when it comes to fat! It has a very mild taste and I find it always pairs well cheesy dishes.

Can I use any shape of hash browns?

You can use any type of frozen hash brown you find at you local grocer. The thickness and density of the hash brown could potentially alter the cook time. Stick with what the recipe below dictates, and modify accordingly so that they are completely heated through!
